Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Eisenstadt, start by heading towards the main bus station, which is located at the intersection of Bahnhofstraße and Franz-Josef-Straße. From there, walk south on Franz-Josef-Straße until you reach the intersection with Hauptstraße. Turn left onto Hauptstraße and continue walking until you reach the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). From the train station, take a train to Vienna. The trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Stephansplatz. Get off at the Stephansplatz station and transfer to line U2 towards Karlsplatz. Get off at the Karlsplatz station. From there, walk to Kärntner Ring 12, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow Kärntner Ring until you reach the destination on your left.

• Public Transport

  From the main bus station in Eisenstadt, take bus line 1 towards the Eisenstadt train station. Once you arrive at the train station, purchase a ticket to Vienna. Board the train heading to Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). After arriving at Wien Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs for the U-Bahn (subway) and take line U1 towards Stephansplatz. Get off at the second stop, Stephansplatz, and then transfer to line U2 towards Karlsplatz. Alight at Karlsplatz station. After exiting, walk along Kärntner Ring for about 10 minutes until you reach Kärntner Ring 12, the location of the Ticket Office of the Vienna Philharmonic on your left.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service from your location in Eisenstadt. Simply request a ride to Kärntner Ring 12, 1010 Wien. The driver will take you directly to the destination. This method may take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions, and will be more expensive than public transportation.
