From Aalst train station, take a train towards Brussels. Make sure to board a train that stops at Watermael-Boitsfort station. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Watermael-Boitsfort station, exit the station and head towards Chaussée de la Hulpe.

After exiting Watermael-Boitsfort station, turn left onto Chaussée de la Hulpe. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance of Sonian Forest – Grippensdelle A, which is located on Chaussée de la Hulpe. Look for signs indicating the entrance to the forest.

From Aalst, take bus line 150 towards Brussels. Get off at the stop called Watermael-Boitsfort, Chaussée de la Hulpe. From there, you can see the entrance to Sonian Forest – Grippensdelle A just a short walk away. It's about a 5-minute walk to the entrance.
