If you are driving, start by heading to IJzerdijk 65, 8600 Diksmuide. From the Belgian Coast, take the E40 highway towards Bruges. Take exit 10 towards Diksmuide and merge onto N35. Continue on N35 until you reach IJzerdijk. Follow the signs for Dodengang (the Trench of Death). There is parking available near the site.

To reach Dodengang using public transport, take a train from any major station on the Belgian Coast to Diksmuide station. The train journey may take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Diksmuide station, exit the station and take bus number 12 or 13 towards 'Diksmuide - IJzerdijk'. Get off at the stop 'IJzerdijk'. From there, it is a short walk (about 10 minutes) to Dodengang located at IJzerdijk 65. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may vary.
