Several bus routes also serve Ostend from surrounding towns. Check local bus schedules for routes to Ostend, then walk about 10 minutes towards the coast and follow the promenade to Montgomerykaai. A single bus or tram ticket costs around €3.

From the city center, head towards the coast and follow the beach promenade to Montgomerykaai. The walk is generally flat and takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on your starting point. Look for landmarks like the Royal North Sea Yacht Club to guide you. Walking is free.
