    From Road Town, Tortola's capital, taxis are readily available. A taxi ride to Trunk Bay typically takes about 20-30 minutes. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxi fares from Road Town to Trunk Bay may range from $20-$30. Taxis are almost always available right at the Road Town cruise ship terminal as well as the beach drop off points.

    If driving from Road Town, head east on the Ridge Road. Look for a left turn just before the mountain-top laundromat, marked by a chocolate brown house. After turning, the road splits within a quarter mile; follow the road leading directly to the beach. Parking is available near Trunk Bay and is free of charge. During the rainy season, the path can be difficult to manage for vehicles, so it is recommended to park your vehicle and walk the last 1/4 mile to the beach.
