If you are driving, navigate towards Sofia and head towards the Boyana district. From the center of Sofia, take Tsar Boris III Blvd and continue onto the Ring Road. Follow the signs for Boyana. Once you reach ul. Vitoshko lale, turn onto the street and the National Museum of History will be on your right at number 16. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that there might be a parking fee, usually ranging from 1 to 2 BGN per hour.

Public Transportation - Bus
For public transportation, take Bus 64 from Sofia city center to the Boyana area. The bus departs from various stops including the main bus station. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Boyana' stop. Walk for about 10 minutes along ul. Vitoshko lale. The National Museum of History will be located on your right at ul. Vitoshko lale 16. A single ticket for the bus costs around 1.60 BGN.

Public Transportation - Metro and Bus
You can also take the Metro Line 1 (the red line) to the 'Vitosha' station. From there, transfer to Bus 64 towards Boyana. After approximately 15 minutes on the bus, disembark at the 'Boyana' stop. Walk for 10 minutes down ul. Vitoshko lale, and you will find the National Museum of History on your right at number 16. The combined cost of the metro and bus ticket is approximately 2.40 BGN.
