If you are driving from Praia Baixo, head northwest on the main road (Rua 5 de Julho) towards the center of Praia. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers. As you approach the city center, follow the signs for Cidade Velha. Once you reach a roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida Cidade de Lisboa, which will lead you towards the coast. After about 5 kilometers, follow the signs to Praia Cidade Velha. There is parking available near the entrance of the site.

To reach Praia Cidade Velha using public transport, take a 'Aluguer' (shared taxi) from Praia Baixo to the center of Praia. The fare is typically around 100 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudos).
