If you are driving from Ribeira Grande, take the main road (EN1-SR3) towards Porto Novo. Continue along this road for about 30 kilometers. As you approach Porto Novo, look for signs directing you toward the beach areas. Turn left onto the road marked for Praia dos Curraletes, which is a smaller road off the main highway. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the beach. Parking is available near the beach.

To reach Praia dos Curraletes using public transport, start by taking a 'chapas' (shared taxi) from Ribeira Grande to Porto Novo. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes and costs around 100 CVE. Once in Porto Novo, you will need to take another chapa heading towards the beach areas, specifically to Praia dos Curraletes. This second leg of the trip will cost about 50 CVE and take around 10-15 minutes. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Praia dos Curraletes.
