Walking
If you are in downtown Pismo Beach, head east on the main street (Pismo Beach Pier) towards Dolliver Street, and continue until you reach the intersection with Highway 101. Cross the street and look for the bus stop. Take the SLO Transit Bus #10 towards San Luis Obispo. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the San Luis Obispo downtown area. Once you get off, walk east on Chorro Street until you reach Palm Street, then turn left. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa on your right at 751 Palm St.

For a scenic route, you can rent a bike in Pismo Beach. Start by biking along the coastal trail towards Ocean View Ave. Continue on the trail until you reach the entrance of the Pismo Beach Pier. Follow the path leading to the bike lane on Dolliver Street. Keep biking straight until you reach the intersection with Highway 101, where you will find a bike rack. Park your bike and hop on the SLO Transit Bus #10, which allows bikes on board. Once you arrive in San Luis Obispo, dismount at the nearest stop and bike the remaining distance. Head east on Chorro Street, take a left on Palm Street, and the Mission will be on your right at 751 Palm St.
