Heritage Park & Museum is within walking distance of the Mission San Luis Rey. From the Mission, walk west on Mission Avenue, then turn north onto Peyri Drive. The park will be on your left. There are no entrance fees to the park.

Public Transport
The nearest major transit hub is the Oceanside Transit Center. From the Oceanside Transit Center, transfer to the NCTD Breeze bus route 303 towards Vista. Get off at the Peyri Drive stop, which is a short walk from Heritage Park & Museum. A one-way fare on the Breeze is typically around $2.50.

From the Oceanside Transit Center, a taxi or rideshare to Heritage Park & Museum will cost approximately $15-$20, depending on traffic and demand. The ride is about 3 miles and should take approximately 10 minutes.

If driving from Interstate 5, take the Mission Avenue exit and head east. Turn north onto Douglas Drive, then east onto El Camino Real (San Luis Rey Drive), and finally north onto Peyri Drive. The park will be on your left. Parking is available on-site. Parking is free.
