Getting There

  • Driving

    From Colorado Springs, take US-24 West towards Cascade. Follow the signs for Pikes Peak Highway. The entrance to the highway is just past Cascade. Be prepared for a 19-mile scenic drive to the summit. Note that there is a toll to enter the Pikes Peak Highway. Parking is available at the summit, but it can be limited during peak season.

  • Public Transport

    While there is no direct public transportation to the summit of Pikes Peak, you can take a shuttle or taxi from Colorado Springs to the Broadmoor Pikes Peak Cog Railway in Manitou Springs. From there, the Cog Railway will take you to the summit. Check the Cog Railway's schedule and book tickets in advance, as they often sell out.
