Getting There

• Train

  From Stamford, head to the Stamford Train Station located at 30 Station Pl, Stamford, CT 06902. You can walk there or take a local bus to reach the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the Metro-North Railroad towards Grand Central Terminal. The train ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, transfer to the 2 or 3 subway line heading to Times Square. At Times Square, switch to the 1 line towards South Ferry and get off at 137th Street – City College Station. After exiting the station, walk west on West 137th Street, then turn left onto Amsterdam Avenue, and finally turn right onto West 142nd Street. The Harlem One Stop Cultural Tours will be on your left at 502 W 142nd St.

• Bus

  From Stamford, take the CT Transit Bus Route 41 towards New Haven. Get off at the Stamford train station and transfer to the Metro-North Railroad. Purchase your ticket to Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive, follow the same subway instructions as mentioned in the train option: take the 2 or 3 line to Times Square, transfer to the 1 line, and get off at 137th Street – City College Station. Walk to the Harlem One Stop Cultural Tours at 502 W 142nd St.

• Combination of Walking and Subway

  If you prefer walking, start from your location in Stamford and make your way to the Stamford Train Station. From there, take the Metro-North Railroad train to Grand Central Terminal.
