Getting There

    From Jaco, head to the main bus terminal located on Calle Manuel Antonio. Look for the bus to Montezuma, which is operated by Transportes Pavas or another local company. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you board, enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The bus will take you to the ferry terminal in Puntarenas.

    Upon arriving at the ferry terminal in Puntarenas, purchase your ferry tickets for the route to Paquera. The ferry ride lasts about an hour. Make sure to check the ferry schedule ahead of time to avoid long waits. Enjoy views of the Gulf of Nicoya on your journey.

  • Bus from Paquera to Montezuma

    Once you arrive at the Paquera ferry terminal, look for the bus that goes to Montezuma. The bus ride takes around 30 to 40 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver that the bus stops at Montezuma. The bus will drop you off near the main entrance of Montezuma, close to the beach.
