Car
From La Fortuna Waterfall, get back on the main road (Route 142) heading towards La Fortuna town center. Drive for about 3 kilometers until you reach Central Park, La Fortuna. Upon reaching the park, look for a sign indicating the direction to the Sloth Watching Trail, which is located 600 meters east of the park. Follow the signs and park your car at the designated area nearby. There may be parking fees involved.

Public Transportation
To reach the Sloth Watching Trail using public transportation, walk back to the main road (Route 142) after visiting La Fortuna Waterfall. Look for a bus stop where local buses heading to La Fortuna town may stop. Get on any bus that is going towards La Fortuna. Once you arrive at La Fortuna Central Park, disembark and walk 600 meters east following the signs to reach the Sloth Watching Trail. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for any changes.

If you prefer to walk from La Fortuna Waterfall to the Sloth Watching Trail, head back along the road you came from. Walk approximately 3 kilometers back to Central Park, La Fortuna. Upon reaching the park, continue walking 600 meters east. Look for signs directing you to the Sloth Watching Trail. This walk will take around 40-50 minutes, depending on your pace.
