Getting There

Walking
From the central park in La Fortuna, head northwest on Avenida 305 toward Calle 4. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle 4. Turn left onto Calle 4 and keep walking for another 5 minutes until you reach the bus terminal. At the terminal, find the bus heading to Monteverde. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Monteverde, disembark at the main stop and head south on Carr. a Reserva de Monteverde for about 15 minutes until you see MonteTours Costa Rica on your right.

Taxi
From your hotel in La Fortuna, ask the reception to call a taxi for you. Once in the taxi, tell the driver you’d like to go to MonteTours Costa Rica in Monteverde. The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the agency located on Carr. a Reserva de Monteverde.

Check with your hotel in La Fortuna for shuttle services to Monteverde. Many hotels offer shuttle transportation. Once you have booked your shuttle, it will pick you up from your hotel. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The shuttle will drop you off directly at MonteTours Costa Rica on Carr. a Reserva de Monteverde.
