Driving
From San José, take the Interamericana Sur highway towards San Isidro de El General. Approximately 1.5 hours from San José, near kilometer 70, turn right. Follow the road, a mix of asphalt and dirt, for about 800 meters. The Albergue Mirador de Quetzales will be on your left after crossing through an oak forest. Free parking is available.

Take a bus from San José to San Isidro de El General. Get off near kilometer 70 of the Interamericana Sur highway. From there, take a taxi or walk the remaining 800 meters to Albergue Mirador de Quetzales. A taxi from the highway to the lodge should cost around $5 - $10 USD.
