From the main entrance of Cerro Verde National Park, head south on the road towards Izalco. Continue driving for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the junction with the CA-8 highway. Turn right onto CA-8 and follow the signs for Izalco. After about 6 kilometers, take the exit towards Izalco, then continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach Q82G+7FQ on your right, where Parroquia Nuestra Señora de los Dolores is located.

From Cerro Verde National Park, you can take a bus to Izalco. Look for the buses marked for 'Izalco' or 'Santa Ana' at the nearest bus stop (usually near the park entrance). The fare is approximately $1. After about 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic, you will arrive in Izalco.
