Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Nuuksio National Park, head southeast on the road leading out of the park towards the E18 highway. Merge onto E18 towards Helsinki. Continue on E18 for about 30 kilometers. Take the exit towards Mannerheimintie/Helsinki City Center. Follow the signs for Mannerheimintie and stay on this road. After approximately 6 kilometers, turn right onto Liisankatu. The Kotikirkko will be on your left at Liisankatu 29. Parking is available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    From Nuuksio National Park, you will first need to take a bus to the nearest train station. Board bus 245 at the nearest bus stop to the park, heading towards Espoo. Get off at Espoo Matinkylä station after about 20 minutes. From there, take the train to Helsinki Central Station. Once at Helsinki Central Station, exit the train and walk to the Kamppi bus station nearby. At Kamppi, catch bus 14 or 18 towards Munkkiniemi and get off at the stop 'Liisankatu'. Walk a short distance to Liisankatu 29, where you will find Kotikirkko.
