To reach the Benny M. Woodham Jr. Trail from Daytona Beach, head to the nearest bus stop servicing the Votran public transit system. You can catch the Route 4 bus towards Ormond Beach. After boarding, stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. When you reach the stop at the Ormond Beach Walmart, disembark. From there, walk north on US-1 for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Granada Blvd. Turn right onto Granada Blvd and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. The trailhead will be on your left.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Daytona Beach. Start from the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and head north on Atlantic Ave, which will turn into A1A. Ride along A1A until you reach the intersection with Granada Blvd in Ormond Beach. Turn left onto Granada Blvd and continue until you see the Benny M. Woodham Jr. Trail entrance on your right. The total distance is about 5 miles.

For a scenic walk, if you're starting from the Daytona Beach Pier, walk north along the beach to the end of the boardwalk. From there, head to A1A and follow it north for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Granada Blvd. Turn left and continue walking for about 1 mile. The Benny M. Woodham Jr. Trail entrance will be on your right. This route is approximately 3.5 miles and provides beautiful views along the coast.
