Take the bus line 701 from Bordeaux to Blaye. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Blaye bus station, it is a 15-minute walk to Citadelle de Blaye. Follow Rue de la République to the river and then head north along the waterfront until you reach the citadel.
