Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head to the A13 highway, which connects Paris to Normandy. Take the exit towards Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Exit 6) and follow the signs for Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Once in the town, follow Rue de la Surintendance to reach Fontaine - Parc château St Germain en Laye. There is parking available near the park, but it may incur a fee depending on the time of day and duration of your stay.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take the RER A train from central Paris (Châtelet-Les Halles or Gare de Lyon stations are convenient options) towards Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Saint-Germain-en-Laye station, exit and walk towards Rue de la Surintendance. The park is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Note that a ticket from central Paris to Saint-Germain-en-Laye will cost around €4.50.

• Bus

  You can also reach Fontaine - Parc château St Germain en Laye by bus. Take Bus 467 from La Défense or Bus 27 from the La Verrière area. Both buses will take you to the Saint-Germain-en-Laye area. Once you get off at the closest bus stop, follow the signs to Rue de la Surintendance. The bus fare is approximately €2, and the journey may take 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.
