Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from central Paris, take the A13 motorway towards Rouen. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards Saint-Germain-en-Laye (D190). Follow the signs for Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Once in the city, continue on Rue de Pontoise until you reach Rue de la Salle, where you will find Terrasses de Saint Germain. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, usually ranging from €1.50 to €3.00 per hour.

• Train

  To reach Terrasses de Saint Germain by public transportation, take the RER A train from central Paris (Châtelet-Les Halles or Gare de Lyon stations) towards Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Saint-Germain-en-Laye station, exit the station and walk towards Avenue de la République. Follow this avenue until you reach Rue de la Salle, then turn left. Terrasses de Saint Germain is located at 10 Rue de la Salle, approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.

• Bus

  You can also take bus line 10 from Paris to Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Board the bus at a stop along the route (check for stops near you, like Gare Saint-Lazare). The bus will take you directly to the center of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal, walk towards Rue de la Salle, which should take about 15 minutes. Ensure you have a valid ticket, which costs around €2 for a single journey.
