Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Potsdam Central Station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), take the S7 train towards Ahrensfelde. Get off at Berlin Alexanderplatz, which is the third stop. At Alexanderplatz, transfer to the U2 subway line towards Pankow. Travel for three stops and get off at U-Bahn station Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. From there, exit the station and walk south on Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Auguststraße, and you will find the KW Institute for Contemporary Art at Auguststraße 69.

• Bus

  From Potsdam, take the bus line 614 from the stop 'Potsdam, ZOB' towards 'Berlin, Bahnhof Südkreuz'. Get off at 'Berlin, Zinnowitzer Straße'. From there, walk to the nearby U-Bahn station 'Friedrichstraße'. Take the U6 towards Alt-Tegel and get off at the next station 'Oranienburger Tor'. Exit the station and walk east on Oranienburger Straße until you reach Auguststraße. Turn right and walk to number 69, where the KW Institute is located.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike in Potsdam and head towards Berlin. Follow the main road (Nuthestraße) which leads into the city. Continue on to the Mauerweg bike path that will take you along the former Berlin Wall. Once you reach the central district of Mitte, navigate towards Auguststraße. The KW Institute for Contemporary Art at Auguststraße 69 will be on your right side.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Brandenburg Gate in Potsdam and walk directly towards the Glienicke Bridge. Cross the bridge into Berlin and continue straight until you reach the Unter den Linden boulevard. From there, turn left onto Friedrichstraße and walk until you reach Oranienburger Straße. Turn right on Oranienburger Straße and finally take a left onto Auguststraße. The KW Institute for Contemporary Art is located at number 69.
