From Heidelberg's central station (Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn S2 towards Sinsheim. Get off at the Durlach station, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to the bus stop. Take bus line 21 towards Durlach Turmberg. The bus will take you up to the Turmberg area. Get off at the 'Turmberg' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the Panorama terrace, which is well-signposted.

If you prefer to walk, starting from Heidelberg's Hauptstraße (the main pedestrian street), head toward the Neckar river and cross the Alte Brücke (Old Bridge). Continue straight until you reach the tram stop at Bismarckplatz. From Bismarckplatz, take tram line 5 towards Durlach and get off at the Durlach stop. Once at Durlach, you can either walk to the Panorama terrace, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill, or take bus line 21 as mentioned above.
