Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Kumasi, the nearest major city. From Kumasi, take the N6 road towards Kintampo. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Effiduase and continue for about 15 kilometers. You will come across a sign for Bomfobir Wildlife Sanctuary. Follow the signs leading to WP56+WFH Effiduase Road, Kumawu. The sanctuary is located just off this road. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as there are limited fuel stations in the surrounding area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Kumasi to Kumawu. Buses regularly depart from the Kumasi central bus terminal. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Kumawu, you can hire a local taxi or take a shared taxi to WP56+WFH Effiduase Road. Make sure to communicate your destination clearly to the driver, as they may not be familiar with Bomfobir Wildlife Sanctuary. Expect to pay around 5-10 GHS for the taxi ride from Kumawu to the sanctuary.

If you are already in Kumawu and prefer to walk, from the town center, head towards Effiduase Road. It is approximately a 4 km walk to the sanctuary. Follow the main road, and you will see signs directing you to Bomfobir Wildlife Sanctuary as you approach the area. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
