Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the main street in Gibraltar, Main Street, head south towards Casemates Square. Once you reach Casemates Square, take the pathway leading towards the south side of the square. Continue along the pathway until you reach the end of the square, where you will see the entrance to the Gibraltar Museum on your right. Keep walking straight, and you will pass the entrance to the Moorish Castle. Proceed down the road until you reach the junction with a road that leads to the sea. At this junction, turn left and walk along the waterfront promenade. As you walk along the promenade, keep an eye out for signs directing you to King's Bastion. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the King's Bastion, which is located at Gibraltar GX11 1AA.

    From the Main Street in Gibraltar, locate the nearest bus stop. Take the bus that goes towards the eastern side of the Rock. The bus will make several stops, but you should disembark at the stop closest to Casemates Square. From there, exit the bus and walk towards Casemates Square. Follow the same walking directions as outlined above, heading south from Casemates Square and walking along the waterfront promenade until you reach King's Bastion.
