If you are at Deák Ferenc tér (a central transport hub in Budapest), take metro line M1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the 5th stop, which is Corvin-negyed. Exit the station and head to the tram stop Corvin-negyed M. Take tram number 4 or 6 in the direction of Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the next stop, which is the Szent Gellért tér. From there, walk along the riverbank of the Danube and enjoy the view. Continue walking until you reach the bridge called 'Kossuth Lajos híd.' Cross this bridge and walk straight until you reach the roundabout at Goldmann György tér. The Memorial of the Victims of Communism 1945-56 will be visible in the square.

If you are in the area of Gellért Hill, start walking downhill towards the Danube River. As you approach the river, head towards the Elizabeth Bridge (Erzsébet híd). Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead until you reach the roundabout at Goldmann György tér. The Memorial of the Victims of Communism 1945-56 will be located in the square, easily accessible from the roundabout.

From the city center, you can take bus number 7 from the bus stop at Astoria. Ride the bus for about 10 stops until you reach the stop called Móricz Zsigmond körtér. Once you get off, head towards the square at Goldmann György tér, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The Memorial of the Victims of Communism 1945-56 is located there.
