Car
If you are driving from the center of Hveragerði, head northeast on Aðalstræti towards Þjóðvegur 1. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Hellishelðivegur. Turn left onto Hellishelðivegur and continue for about 3 kilometers. The Hveradalir Geothermal Area will be on your right side. Look for the parking area to access the trails.
Public Transportation
To reach Hveradalir Geothermal Area via public transportation, start at the Hveragerði bus stop. Take bus number 51 towards Selfoss. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the Hellishelðivegur stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer north along Hellishelðivegur, and you will find the entrance to Hveradalir Geothermal Area on your right.
