If you're driving from downtown Reykjavík, head east on Hringbraut road. Continue straight onto Miklabraut and follow the signs for Route 1 (Ring Road). After about 5 km, take the exit toward Þingvellir and merge onto Route 36. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 37. Turn left onto Route 37 and follow it for about 7 km. Look for Hellishelðivegur road on your right. The Hveradalir Geothermal Area will be along this road, with clear signs indicating the entrance.
