Car
From Palouse, ID, head south on WA-27 S towards the Idaho border. Continue for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with I-90 E. Merge onto I-90 E and follow signs for Coeur d'Alene. After about 30 miles, take exit 11 for I-84 S towards Boise. Follow I-84 S for about 100 miles until you reach exit 141 for Shoshone. Merge onto US-93 N and follow it for about 10 miles. Take a left onto W Thorn Creek St, and the museum will be on your left at 251 W Thorn Creek St, Shoshone, ID 83352.

From Palouse, take the nearest Greyhound bus to Shoshone. There may not be a direct route, so check the schedule for connections, possibly through Moscow, ID, or Boise, ID. Once in Shoshone, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach 251 W Thorn Creek St, Shoshone, ID 83352.
Bicycle
For the adventurous cyclist, you can bike from Palouse to Shoshone. Follow WA-27 S to I-90 E, then connect to US-93 N. The total distance is approximately 75 miles, so plan for an all-day ride. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws. Once in Shoshone, navigate to 251 W Thorn Creek St.
