At the bus station, look for buses heading towards Dholka or Lothal. The journey will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Lothal. Once you reach Lothal, you will need to walk a short distance to the archaeological site.

From Ahmedabad, head to the Ahmedabad Railway Station. You can take an auto-rickshaw or taxi to reach the station. Look for trains heading towards the Dholka station. The train journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Dholka, take an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi to Lothal, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the route to the archaeological remains.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a shared auto-rickshaw from Ahmedabad to Lothal. Head to a busy area in Ahmedabad, like the Paldi or Maninagar area, where shared auto-rickshaws frequently operate. Inform the driver that you want to go to Lothal. This journey may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic, and you can enjoy the local scenery along the way.
