If you are driving from central The Dunes area, head southeast on E Dunes Highway/Highway 12. Continue on Highway 12 for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Howe Road. The Bailly Homestead will be on your left at 733 Howe Rd, Porter, IN 46304. There is parking available on-site.

To reach the Bailly Homestead via public transportation, take the South Shore Line train from the Dunes Park station towards Chicago. Get off at the Porter stop. From the Porter station, you can either walk approximately 1.5 miles east on U.S. Highway 20 to reach Howe Road, or use a local taxi or rideshare service to complete your journey to 733 Howe Rd, Porter, IN 46304.
