From the center of Newton, head east on E 2nd St toward E 1st St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 4th St. Turn left onto E 4th St and walk for about 0.2 miles. You will see a bus stop for the local transit. Board the bus heading toward the east side of the city. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of E 4th St and McLean Dr. Once you get off the bus, walk south on McLean Dr for about 0.3 miles and you will arrive at NOAA - Stellwagen Banks National Marine Sanctuary.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Newton. Start from the downtown area, head east on E 2nd St, then turn left onto E 4th St. Continue on E 4th St for about 0.5 miles and look for a bike path that leads to the east side. Follow the bike path for about 2 miles. When you reach the intersection of E 4th St and McLean Dr, turn left and ride for an additional 0.3 miles until you arrive at NOAA - Stellwagen Banks National Marine Sanctuary.
