    From downtown Des Moines, head to the nearest DART bus stop. Take Bus Route 2 (Ingersoll) or Bus Route 3 (East 14th) towards East Village. Get off at the stop at 5th and Grand. Walk east along Grand Avenue until you reach Robert D. Ray Drive, then turn left. The garden entrance will be on your right. A single ride on DART is $1.75.

    If biking from downtown Des Moines, head east on Locust Street, turn left on 5th Avenue, and then right onto Grand Avenue. Continue to Robert D. Ray Drive and turn left. The garden will be on your right. Parking for bikes is available near the garden. No cost.
