If you are driving, start from wherever you are in the Wicklow Mountains and head towards the N11 road. Follow the N11 in the direction of Dublin. Once you reach the outskirts of Dublin, take the exit for the R105 towards Howth. Continue on the R105 until you reach the Howth Harbour. Here, you will need to park your car. There are several public parking areas available around the harbor with signs indicating parking fees, which usually cost around €5 for the day.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from the Wicklow Mountains to Dublin city center. The Bus Éireann services will connect you to Dublin. Once in Dublin, transfer to the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) service at Tara Street station. Take the DART towards Howth. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Alight at Howth station. From there, it is a short walk to Howth Harbour where you can catch a ferry to Ireland's Eye. The ferry costs approximately €15 round trip for adults.
