Getting There

Walking
From the centre of Ballasalla, head east on the A5 road towards Castletown. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout at the junction with the A36. Continue straight onto the A36 towards Peel. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach a bus stop on your right side. Cross the road and continue walking west along the A36. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Patrick Village. As you approach Patrick, the Centre for WW1 Internment will be located on your left at the Patrick Old School, just before the junction with the B10 road.

Bicycle
Start from Ballasalla and head east on the A5 road. Follow the same route as walking, which is approximately 1.5 miles to the roundabout at the A36. Turn left onto the A36 and cycle towards Peel. The ride is scenic, with plenty of space along the roadside. Continue cycling past the bus stop, and you will find the Centre for WW1 Internment on your left after about 10 minutes of cycling.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Ballasalla, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the A5 road. Take the bus heading towards Peel (check the schedule for exact times). After approximately 15-20 minutes, you will reach the Patrick bus stop. Get off the bus and walk back a short distance along the A36 towards Patrick Village. The Centre for WW1 Internment is located on your left as you approach the Patrick Old School.
