If you are starting from the historic center of Genoa (Piazza de Ferrari), head northwest on Via XX Settembre towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Vittoria. From there, take the exit towards Via San Lorenzo and walk straight until you reach the end of Via San Lorenzo. Turn left onto Via Balbi and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via di Francia. Turn right onto Via di Francia, and you will see Piazza del Principe ahead on your left.
