The castle's polygonal perimeter stretches for 550 meters, featuring slits, buttresses, and nine well-preserved towers. Crescenzo De Martino, the current castellan whose family has owned the fortress for about 200 years, often provides guided tours and offers local products such as liqueurs and wine.
