Start at the main square of San Gimignano, Piazza della Cisterna. From here, head northeast towards Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Via Vecchia. Turn right onto Via Vecchia and walk until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto Via San Matteo. Continue on this road, and then take a right onto Via delle Fonti. Follow this road until you reach the end, where you'll see a small path leading downhill. Follow this path, and it will lead you to the outskirts of San Gimignano. Once you reach the bottom of the hill, turn left onto the main road, which will eventually lead you to Siena. Keep walking until you reach Piazza Provenzano, where the Insigne Collegiata di Santa Maria in Provenzano is located.
