From the central Piazza della Cisterna in San Gimignano, head east toward Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Vecchia and proceed straight until you reach the end of the street. At the T-junction, turn right onto Via delle Vergini. Continue walking until you reach the main road, Via Roma. Cross Via Roma and continue straight onto Via della Storia. Stay on this road, which will eventually lead you to the outskirts of San Gimignano. Follow the signs that lead toward Castelfranco Piandiscò, and after approximately 1 hour of walking, you will arrive at Santa Maria a Scò, located on Viale A. Volta.
