From the central square of San Gimignano, Piazza della Cisterna, head northwest on Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Via Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Vecchia and follow it until you reach the main road, SP1. Cross the road carefully and follow the signs pointing towards Siena. Keep walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus stop labeled 'San Gimignano - Porta San Giovanni'.
