Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Catania. Take the A18 motorway heading towards Siracusa. Exit at 'Cassibile' and follow the signs for SR-11 towards Ferla. Continue on SR-11 for about 20 km until you reach Ferla. Once in Ferla, navigate to Via Cassaro, 16 where the entrance to the Riserva naturale orientata Pantalica is located. Parking is available near the entrance, and no additional fees for parking are typically charged.

From Catania, take a train to Siracusa (approximately 1 hour). Once in Siracusa, transfer to a local bus (AST) heading towards Ferla. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Ferla stop and walk to Via Cassaro, 16. Be aware that bus schedules may vary, so it is advisable to check the current timetable ahead of your trip. A bus ticket costs around €2.50.

Once you arrive in Ferla, if you prefer to walk from the bus stop to the entrance of the reserve (Via Cassaro, 16), it is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Follow Via Garibaldi until you reach Via Cassaro, then turn left. The reserve entrance will be on your right.
