If you're driving, start from the center of Buzen. Head south on Route 10 towards Beppu. Continue for about 30 kilometers. As you approach Beppu, keep left to stay on Route 10, following signs for Beppu. Once in Beppu, take the exit for Kannawa. Continue straight until you reach Oniishi Bozu Jigoku, located at 559-1 Kannawa, Beppu, Oita 874-0000. There is parking available on-site, but a small fee may apply.

To reach Oniishi Bozu Jigoku using public transport, start by taking a train from Buzen to Beppu Station. A one-way ticket costs around 500 yen and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Beppu Station, transfer to a local bus heading to Kannawa Onsen. The bus fare is around 500 yen and the ride takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Oniishi Bozu Jigoku' stop, which is just a short walk from the entrance of the attraction.
