To reach Yudonosan's Otorii gate via public transport, take a train from Tsuruoka Station on the Uetsu Main Line towards Sakata. Get off at the Yudonosan Station (約20 minutes). From the station, you can take a local bus (Bus No. 50 or 51) that goes directly to Yudonosan. The bus fare is around 500 yen. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at the Yudonosan bus stop, it's a short 15-minute walk to the Otorii gate. Follow the signs indicating the direction of Yudonosan. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the area.
