If you're driving from Kumamoto city, take the Kyushu Expressway (E3) towards Aso. Exit at the Aso Interchange and follow the signs for Route 57 towards Aso. Continue on Route 57 for about 30 minutes until you reach Uchinomaki Onsen. The onsen is located at 温泉 Uchinomaki, Aso, Kumamoto 869-2307. There are parking facilities available near the onsen.

From Kumamoto Station, take the JR Higo Ozone Line towards Higo Ozone Station. The train journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Higo Ozone Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop for the Aso area. Board the bus heading to Uchinomaki Onsen (you may need to check the bus schedule in advance). The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Make sure to have some yen ready for the bus fare, which is typically around 500 yen.
