Getting There

Walking
If you are already in Hiroshima Castle, simply leave the castle grounds through the main entrance. Head south towards the main road, Motomachi. Once you reach Motomachi, turn right and continue walking for about 5 minutes. You will reach the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, a beautiful and significant area that commemorates the events of World War II. Continue walking straight, following the signs towards the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which is a short distance away.

Public Transport (Tram)
If you prefer to take public transport, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Hiroshima Castle' tram station located on the west side of the castle. Board the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) tram heading towards Eba. The ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Genbaku Dome-mae' stop. From there, you can easily walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, which are located nearby.
