Car
If you are driving, start from central Hitachi and head south towards Route 6. Follow Route 6 until you reach the junction with the Joban Expressway. Take the Joban Expressway towards Tokyo and continue for approximately 90 kilometers. Take exit 32 for the Tsukuba Expressway, then merge onto Route 6 again heading towards Sumida City. Follow the signs for Sumida City and continue straight until you reach Higashimukojima. Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens will be on your left at 3 Chome-18-3 Higashimukojima, Sumida City, Tokyo 131-0032.

Public Transportation
To reach Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens using public transportation, start at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line to Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and travel towards Nakameguro. Get off at Asakusa Station. At Asakusa Station, transfer to the Tobu Isesaki Line and take a train to Higashi-Mukojima Station. Upon arrival at Higashi-Mukojima Station, exit the station and head southwest on Higashimukojima Street for about 10 minutes.
