Car
If you are driving from Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway to the Kinki Expressway (Route 25) towards Nara. Continue on Route 25 and take the exit towards Nara. Follow the signs for Nara City Center. Once you reach Nara, take Route 369 towards Inyocho. Turn left onto Inyocho, and you will find the Naramachi Karakuri Toy Museum at 7 Inyocho. Parking may be limited, so look for nearby parking lots or street parking.

Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Nara Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. From the bus terminal, take the Nara Kotsu Bus bound for Naramachi or walk approximately 20 minutes to reach the museum. If walking, follow the signs leading to Naramachi, and keep an eye out for the museum located at 7 Inyocho.

From Nara Station, you can take the Nara City Loop Bus (Green Line) which will take you to the Naramachi area. Get off at the Naramachi bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to 7 Inyocho. Follow the signs to Naramachi, and you will see the museum along the street.
