Getting There

  For those using public transportation, start by taking the JR Nara Line from your nearest station in the countryside to Kyoto Station. Upon arriving at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus. Take Bus number 100 or 206 and get off at the 'Okazaki Seishin Shaka Daigaku Mae' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the museum. As of now, a one-way ticket on the JR Nara Line costs about 410 yen, and the bus fare is around 230 yen.

Follow the Yodogawa River cycle path towards the city, which is scenic and relatively flat. Once you reach the city center, navigate towards Sakyo Ward.
