Getting There

  • Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Special Rapid Service to Osaka Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, follow the signs to the Osaka Metro. Take the Midosuji Line (Red Line) from Umeda Station to Namba Station, which takes approximately 12 minutes.

  • Walk

    After arriving at Namba Station, exit the station and head towards Dotonbori. Follow the signs for Dotonbori. It’s about a 10-minute walk. As you walk, keep an eye out for the iconic Glico Man sign, which will guide you further. Once you reach Dotonbori, the Osaka Shochikuza Theatre is located at 1 Chome-9-19 Dotonbori, on your left.

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, you can also take the Highway Bus to Osaka. The bus departs from the Kyoto Station Bus Terminal and arrives at the Namba OCAT terminal. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Namba OCAT, follow the signs to Namba Station and then walk towards Dotonbori, which is about a 10-minute walk.
